Kevork Mourad is an Armenian artist from Aleppo, Syria, who has exhibited in the United States, Damascus and Dubai.

As an artist-performer, Mourad has performed in venues all over the world, including the Lincoln Center Atrium, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Rhode Island School of Design, Harvard University, the Rubin Museum of Art, the Festival du Monde Arabe de Montréal, the Dutch Royal Palace for the Prince Claus Foundation, the MuCEM in Marseille and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. His show “Home Within with Kinan Azmeh” has toured the world, and he has created the live and animated visuals for three plays and two operas — among them, Lembit Beecher’s “I Have No Stories to Tell You” at Opera Philadelphia, and Manuel de Falla’s “Master Peter’s Puppet Show” with the Knights at Tanglewood. The 2016 recipient of the Robert Bosch Stiftung prize, he is currently at work on an animated short film about Syria.
