Learning Programs Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced learning professional with a spirit of innovation regarding educational initiatives that deepen the role of museums as sites of informal learning. Reporting to the Curator of Programs & Social Practice, the Learning Programs Coordinator oversees the museum’s educational programs, museum tours and visits (public, school, teacher and specialized), learning resources that enrich collections, exhibitions, public programs, residencies and tours, and professional development opportunities (internships, docents and volunteers). The ideal candidate believes that museums improve the quality of people’s lives, views exhibitions and collections as a catalyst for life-long learning and imagines museum experiences as adventures in learning.
