Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design hosts a special pop-up program: a night of acoustic music with acclaimed singer-songwriters GROW (Liza Garza and Eli Lakes) with a special performance by Oahu-based musician, Thunderstorm Artis. Pupus and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

Rooted in a passion for Oneness and tradition, singer-songwriter, mother-son duo, Eli Lakes and Liza Garza appearing as GROW, present an array of original music that carries on in the tradition of their family. Honoring their ancestors, they hold sacred the power of song and storytelling and its ability to unveil bridges between the hearts. The joy they share on the stage they also take into their work as facilitators. Offering workshops that explore Love and Healing they championing the vulnerable with every creative exchange, celebrating their mutual passion for each other and their divine purpose.
Thunder Artis was born and raised in Hawaii in a musical family and learned to play music at the age of seven from his two parents. He believes that through music he can make the world a better place, lifting the hearts of those he plays for and brightening peoples day one song at a time.
