Juan Ricardo Cole is a public intellectual, prominent blogger and essayist, and the Richard P. Mitchell Collegiate Professor of History at the University of Michigan. He was a scholar-in-residence at Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design from December 6 -21, 2016.
